Tipping your captain is highly encouraged. For all parties with nine or more people and water sports, a 20% gratuity will be added on to the total price.

Cancelations
You may cancel your reservation for any reason 8 days before the date of your rental via email (info@bigtexboatrentals.com) at no charge.
Cancellations within 7 days of the scheduled trip will result in a 50% charge of the agreed upon total.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled trip are not permitted and will result in 100% charge of the agreed upon total.
In the event of SEVERE thunderstorms or unsafe boating conditions, the scheduled trip will be canceled and there will be no charge. If severe weather prevents us from completing your reservation as planned, we will only charge for the time enjoyed on the boat, up to a full refund (minus the non-refundable booking fee) if no part of the rental is completed. Big Tex Boat Rentals operates rain or shine.
We reserve the right to cancel any boat outing due to unsafe or uncomfortable conditions such as temperatures under 55F or winds over 20mph.
Please Note: Windy, Cloudy, and light or intermittent rain showers are not considered unsafe boating conditions and the scheduled trip will not be cancelled. All weather will be closely monitored.
NO SHOWS: All no shows will be charged the full price amount plus an additional 20% gratuity. A "no call, no show" is called 30 minutes after the reservation start time when we've had zero contact from the client and they're not reachable by the contact info provided. This results in a full charge to the card on file and forfeit the rental.
There is no compensation for late arrivals or early return.
We have the right to refuse service to anyone. If someone within your party becomes unruly, excessively intoxicated, poses a danger to others or themselves, or displays behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive by our captains or other employees, Big Tex Boat Rentals reserves the right to refuse service without refund.
Reschedules
If you made a reservation to book a boat and would like to reschedule your reservation you must do so 7+ days before your scheduled charter. We can rebook your date to a later time as long as availability is open for the date and time selected. We will try to work you into the schedule if possible. You are only allowed to reschedule a reservation 7+ days before your reservation, if the weather is so severe we have to cancel the day of, or for other unforeseen circumstances. If you are rescheduling your boat charter we will have to take full payment in advance to prevent more cancellations and reschedules.
